Chicago musician and gravity denier, Drew Flippin, has been busy composing and collecting his own brand of “Apartment Rock” into the long-awaited debut solo album All Pity. No Party. The songs range from acoustic ballads about former Australian capitols to upbeat rockers that pay tribute to McDonald’s fries. It’s a real whirlwind of emotions—laziness, self-loathing, and apathy mostly—but they all come together to make one helluva album.
