If you’re like me, nothing is better than seeing a great song reinterpreted into a music video. Put the whole thing in space, and you’ve got a recipe for a wild success. Milwaukee ensemble, The Fatty Acids, have been hard at work crafting intergalactic videos in advance of their new album.
The music video for the first single, “Airsick,” from their soon-to-be-released album, Boléro, has landed. “Airsick” is a bouncy, schizophrenic tune that jumps from catchy synth melodies into fuzzy guitar riffs. The vocals go from long, drawn out verses into manic, quickly spoken lines in the blink of an eye. It’s an enjoyable song, and an equally enjoyable video.
The Fatty Acids are set to play an album release show on September 6th at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee. Also playing that evening will be Faux Fir and Sat. Nite Duets. More info here.
