Joplin, MO singer-songwriter Carter Hulsey has been developing his blend of acoustic/country/rock/pop music over the last few years through several releases including personal favorite, 2011’s What You Carry. After spending most of the summer of the road, Carter is gearing up for the release of his latest effort, Drive Out.
Officially out 2/4/14, Drive Out‘s ten tracks culminate with a cover of the country music staple, “Long Black Veil”. Check out a live, in-studio, recording of the track, below.
You’ve got a little less than a week to get your pre-order placed, with CD’s shipping out as early as next Friday. Carter will be celebrating the CD release with a show on Friday, February 7 at JB’s Piano Bar in Joplin, MO with support from Me Like Bee’s and The Too’s.
