Over the course of the past year the 4 members of ASTRAL HAND have been carefully programming their very first radio transmission. The Milwaukee based crew of Al Kraemer, Vic Buell, Anthony Smith and Dan Dahl are stepping away from their previous incarnation, Calliope, to focus on something a little different.
Their debut single “Universe Machine” is a heavy groove that lands right at the cosmic intersection of Hawkwind and Black Sabbath. Calliope fans need not fear, the band has emerged from their cocoon with just as much psychedelic swagger as before, if not more. Based on this first single we’re very excited to hear more transmissions from Astral Hand!

The band’s debut show is coming up on Friday, April 26th at Company Brewing (735 E Center st. MKE, WI). They will be joined by TAREK SABBAR and SHOGUN. The show starts at 10PM, is 21+, and costs $10 at the door. RSVP via Facebook.
