Today, we’re excited to announce new music from Chicago’s You Folk. “Nolo Contendere” comes off the outfit’s upcoming full-length LP, The Foil. Follow You Folk through this lush soundscape of crashing cymbals, immaculate harmonies, and delicate guitar melodies to a climax that slows the tempo ever-so-gradually until the end. The harmonies remind me at times of Minus the Bear–a perfect mix of vocal weights. All in all, “Nolo Contendere” glows.
