You’re going to be playing the sixth Milwaukee Psych Fest. What are you doing to prepare?
Prepare? Arranged the songs like a conversation with a stranger : from light and impersonal to heavy and vulnerable.
Who are you looking forward to seeing most at MPFVI?
Looking forward to seeing the people/ patrons / crowd who support creative, generous, and brave music.
Your self-titled release from 2012 is compiled of nearly three years worth of recorded material, what’s in store for your next release?
Next music to share will be as honest and generous as we can be.
What have you been up to in the 6 years between your last release and now?
We have recorded enough material for at least two records and hope to start sharing some of it soon…we have played live around the region and Visited Denmark, India, Belgium, And Germany sharing the music with people who treated us like family.
What’s in the future for Painted Caves?
The future: unknown….we hope that the music continues to reach people and provides some comfort in a world of animals eating one another to survive.
