Chicago based pop-rock crooner Dan Rico is back with an appropriately titled new album called Dreamy.
This latest full-length finds Rico producing more highly accessible pop music that borrows elements from just about every era you can think of. A bit of Elvis, a dash of Marc Bolan, and even a smidge of Prince are peppered throughout the album. Dan Rico is much more than just a silky smooth vocalist though. A multi-instrumentalist at heart, Rico is a skilled guitarist who also finds time to play bass, keyboards, drums, as well as handle all of the production on his recordings. Dreamy is full of downtempo R&B numbers perfect for a slow dance with your loved ones but Glam Rock jams like “Desirée” & “Hot To Please” will really get you moving.
