Somewhere between Minneapolis and Milwaukee, long distance magic happens and results in beautiful poster work under the Landland name. Landland is a two-person studio and screenprinting shop driven by Dan Black and Jessica Seamans. The team creates highly illustrative gig posters, art prints, and occasionally limited-edition records and short-run books under Landland is Not a Record Label.
They’ve created posters for bands such as Kishi Bashi, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes, and Andrew Bird, and are releasing some new prints in their shop for Calexico and Dave Matthews Band. Check them out below:
Where we live tends to get very cold, so a lot of times the only thing that makes sense is to stay inside and draw tessellation patterns or the names of bands or messed-up billboards or things that you remember from back when it was fun to go outside. -Landland
These three new posters will be available for sale at the Landland store on June 20th (TODAY!) at 2PM.
Landland will be at Flatstock at Pitchfork Music Fest in Chicago! Visit their booth if you’re at the festival, July 19-21.
