Minneapolis is well-known for its musical diversity—Pure Shifter—the new project from John Genz and Doug Deitchler finds its sound from a variety of influences ranging from electro-pop and ’80s dance to post-punk.
The band’s latest release is a 2-song EP simply titled No. The songs mix crunchy electronic beats, arpeggiated synth lines, and undeniably catchy pop harmonies.
