Watch This: “When I Was With You” by Casual Hex

The brand new video from Chicago’s premiere psychedelic flower power act, Casual Hex, offers up pastoral landscapes, nude food fights, diving lessons, and a whole lot more. The song itself is from their upcoming self-titled EP and one hell of a groove. A fuzzed out guitar riff weaves its way through gorgeous layers of vocals, keyboards, bass and drums.

“When I Was With You” has the ’60s pop sensibilities to be right at home on an Austin Power’s movie soundtrack but with a slightly dark edge to it. Perfecting the balance between sweet and sour, Casual Hex deliver once again on this one. Watch the video directed by Filip Kojic exclusively on Midwest Action!
