Watch This: “The Walls” by Scout Ripley – Video Premiere

Fronted by singer/songwriter/violinist Claire Watkins, Chicago’s Scout Ripley blends rich layers of orchestral instruments, guitars, keys, and rhythm into an indie rock tapestry that’s not only dance-able but gorgeously composed too.

Their latest full length release is proof of that. A Delicate Age was released in September of 2017 but today we’re happy to bring you the brand new video for one of our favorite tracks “The Walls”.

Watch it below:

The bowling themed romp was directed by Marc Wilkinson at Suburban Skies Pictures and primarily shot at Southport Lanes (Chicago’s foremost bowling alley for music video shoots, birthdays, and bat mitzvahs). The song itself was produced by Connor Boyle and mastered by Carl Saff.

Stream the rest of the album via bandcamp and pick up a CD or digital download if you like what you hear! You can see the band play for free as part of Lakeview Live’s 2018 summer concert series on July 18th (more details on that to come).
