Watch This: “Lemon Lime” by The Curls – Video Premiere

Our favorite art-rock weirdos The Curls are back with a new album and another trippy-ass video for the single “Lemon Lime”.

The song is another certifiable ripper to add to the band’s already extensive catalog of danceable singles. This time around, singer Mick Fansler confesses his love and dedication to lemon lime Gatorade among other affirmations like “I won’t text and drive today” and “now is the time to be brave”

Along with some kooky kaleidoscopic visuals the video features some scenic views of the band’s fridge and a nice collection of local cassettes (see if you can spot our Teenage Rage double album among the freshly chilled tapes). The self-proclaimed “NPR Tiny Fridge Submission” may just catch on if NPR gets wind of it. There’s also a cute dog at the end, so don’t go dipping out early on this one.

Watch it below and get yourself pumped up for the full album:

Bounce House, the latest album from The Curls is out on June 7th via Diversion Records on CD and digital formats. The official release show is a week later on June 15th at Observatory. RSVP on Facebook and keep an eye out for Bounce House!
