Today, Midwest Action is proud to premiere the video for “Duvel” by Blume Hinges. Blume Hinges is lead by Canadian-based Aaron Egeland with help from Chicago-based drummer Rodney Veinot and engineer/producer Scott Simon.
The video is perfectly desolate to match a song that’s, well, perfectly desolate. It captures the certain kind of melancholy that you can only capture on a lonely city night. Lone acoustic guitar builds alongside electric guitar swells, comfortable drums, and vocals that take a more aggressive tone by the song’s end.
