Chicago’s Lake Soda are making their MWA debut today—singer/songwriter Stanton McConnell (former Santah) fronts this fantasy folk, dream pop project that meld together atmospheric guitar, lush synthesizers, and sparse percussion. “Comets Call” is the first single and video from the band’s upcoming EP out November 26th.
The song is a serene four minutes that you’ll wish lasted twice as long. The video combines pastoral aerial shots, stormy evenings, and plenty of scenic views that pair beautifully with the music.
