Well I’m not quite sure how it happened, but the holidays are almost upon us. If you’re looking to spend some quality time with a beer this weekend before family gatherings slowly drive you into madness, The Empty Bottle has your back.
Supporting their recently released debut, Teachable Moments, local trio Taft will be flooding the Bottle with their brand of jangly indie-rock this Sunday night. The eight-track release, recorded at Chicago’s Treehouse Records, is one nostalgia-fueled pop track after the next with no shortage of infectious vocal and instrumental hooks. You can take a listen to Teachable Moments below and if you find yourself taken with the cover art, check out Taft’s “Band Pets” page and cue the “awwws”.
Tickets are just $5 and you can either grab them online or just snag them at the door. The show kicks off at 7:00 PM with opening sets from Pete Singer and Bear With Hawk Fist before Taft takes the stage.
