Back in April we featured Champaign-Urbana indie rocker Noah Harris and now he’s back again. This time though he’s bringing his rock styles to the Summer Solstice Festival in Yorkville. He’ll be up along side such artists as Nikki Lane and Cory Chisel and so many more. With the scenic Fox River in the background and more music than you can handle in one day, this festival promises to be an awesome time.
Noah has been bringing his music all over and his spreading his good tunes. He’s hard at work on making a full length record coming off his debut EP Solo Demonstration. He’s hoping to have the full album up this summer with the band backing his lead. If that’s not enough to keep you satisfied you can rest easy, he’s going try for an EP to hold the masses over for now.
This brand of Southern-Psych rock meets folk is something I just can’t seem to get enough of. While there are only 4 tracks on Solo Demonstration each one packs in a multitude of different styles. The smooth and soulful “Stand Up Man” is a track that will slow down even the most hectic of individuals and paints a picture in your mind.
The Summer Solstice Festival is kicking of on Friday 7/20 and goes for 2 days and Noah is playing both days.
