Prolific jazz-cat Kevin and Hell is back with a new groove and a new video premiering today only on MWA! Watch “Green Dragon Blues” below and be transported to a land where jazz is king, and we must obey it’s every demand.
The stark and gorgeous black and white video was produced by Tweak World and features the band performing in their element while the camera meanders around the scene. Stripped down from his usual 7-piece band—this trio version of Kevin and Hell creates a bluesy groove that is reminiscent of Hugo Montenegró era compositions (minus some of the cheesy Wild West sounds).
Catch the band live this Saturday, January 26th at The Apple Hole for the first Quarterly Jazz Nite of 2019. They will be performing with MÖBIUS (Nick Salvucci) & the KYLE MADSEN TRIO.
