It was a night filled with cheap beer, fun-sized candy, and good music as DZ Records welcomed four bands into their space for an intimate Halloween costume party and show.
Thee Artur Layne
First up was Thee Arthur Layne, who played such classic, hard, soul-filled rock (and a frontman who played one heckofa harmonica) it left me shook.
The Just Luckies
The Just Luckies were next and treated the audience to a rendition of “Monster Mash”.
BlackGlass
BlackGlass concluded the night, blasting through fan-favorites “Red Ropes” and “Invictus”, and treating the audience to a not-yet-released tune, “God Mom.” The band concluded with the BlackGlass classic, “Bitter Rind.”
DZ Records never fails to disappoint, and when you add Halloween costumes to the mix, the night’s guaranteed to be a winner.
