St. Marlboro played a smoky set at The Empty Bottle last Saturday. Liam Shanley’s crafty articulations on his Fender Jazzmaster wafted savory sensations. Fills snuggled with ascending peaks and gushing crashes. Anthony Cook’s fearless fingers flooded the room with elation.

The Roalde Dahls sunk into spicy songs from the release of their self-titled full length album. Milky tones orbited around Esteban Martinez’s pulsing rhythms exalted by the synthesizing sorcery of Nikko Paoulos. “Crow” rose like smoke above a flame of allure and climbed into the heavens aboard a rocket ship piloted by the “Outlaw Staar.” Dylan aka “Drillin!’” Flynn exposed the true “H.I.D” in us all. The performance was as juicy as a giant peach.
