V.V. Lightbody is releasing her debut album Bathing Peach (Midwest Action) this Friday, June 8th at Schubas. Being fans of frontwoman Vivian McConnell’s previous projects, Santah and Grandkids, to say that we’re simply looking forward to the official release is a bit of an understatement.
In the weeks leading up to the album’s release, we’ve been treated to snippets from Bathing Peach, namely “Fig Leaves” (which premiered on Gorilla vs. Bear) and “Gaze“. Today, we’re proud to share “Allowance” from the first of many Midwest Action Live Sessions.
