On Pitchfork’s first day, the general consensus was the same: it was exceedingly, oppressively hot. Festival-goers didn’t let that get them down as everyone gave each other space, bonded in the misting tents and cooling busses, and hydrated thoroughly. It was hard to imagine performing on a day like Friday, but everyone took to the stages like professionals and turned what could have been a sweaty, miserable day into a sweaty, memorable one.
