With about a month until the release of their upcoming album, Fauvely are unleashing their epic track, “What the Living Do,” into the world. This first taste of their album has everything we’ve come to know and love about Fauvely: deeply personal lyricism, haunting instrumentation, and dreaminess in the most profound kind of way.
“What the Living Do” feels bold and climactic, with emotive cymbals crashes and atmospheric guitar wails supporting frontwoman Sophie Brochu. If this the first peek into forthcoming This Is What the Living Do, I can only imagine more goodness awaits.
