Gracing Pygmalion’s Saturday line-up this year is Elsinore. These indie pop purists from Champaign put out one of my favorite Chicago records back in 2010, the fantastic Yes Yes Yes LP. This memorable album is filled with lush melodies, instrumentation, and fantastic vocal delivery from main man, Ryan Groff.
After listening to their new track, “Ultraviolence”, in advance of their upcoming record Push/Pull, I’m extremely excited to see what these guys have up their sleeves. This new song is explosive and emotive and just downright good.
