Chicago’s Flugel plays undeniably catchy alt-pop, and on January 17th, they’ll share a undeniably catchy new track from their upcoming full-length, Pull Some Strings.
“Pull Some Strings” follows their November 9th release, ”Say No More.” The track tells tales of city living, public transportation, and the trials of the working individual to bouncy bass lines, poppy guitar, and a complex rhythmic backbone–which is perhaps the most interesting part of the song. It’s a great track that you’ll undoubtedly catch yourself bopping your head to, but when the synth line comes in towards the end, echoing the chorus, it’s just… perfect.
Hear it live first at Flugel’s upcoming January 17th show at Chop Shop. Playing also are Love in October and Family of Geniuses. RSVP here; buy tickets here; 18+.
