Chicago alternative rock group Filligar have been very busy. In the last few years the guys put out their fifth studio album, Hexagon, were hand-picked by the Counting Crows to join their Outlaw Roadshow tour, and more recently traveled to Azerbaijan, Kuwait, Guyana and more as officially appointed cultural ambassadors by the US Department of State.
Seemingly not satisfied with that impressive list of milestones, the quartet is gearing up to release their first ever vinyl record – a 7″ single for the one of their newest tracks, “Photos of Madrid”.
Out just in time for Record Store Day, Filligar is pressing a limited 100 copies of the 45 in a joint release with Decade Records and Random Records. Not only is the single only going to cost you $6, but each of the 100 available pieces will be signed by the band. You can’t beat it!
The 7″ is backed with a dance remix of the track by Booklyn-based producer Kent Rockafeller, and the result is Filligar like you’ve never heard them before. Each purchase comes with an instant digital download of both tracks. So what are you waiting for?
