On August 6th, the doors of the Union Street Gallery opened and inside was the Chicago Pastel Painters Fifth Biennial Juried Members Exhibit, more succincttly known as Strokin’ V. The exhibit focuses on the broad range of the medium of pastels and features 60 works of pastel art.
The exhibition will display a diversity of visual styles and subject matter. Enjoy a quick preview of the show with pieces from five Illinois-based artists below:

Head over to Union Street Gallery in Chicago Heights before September 6th when Strokin’ V will come down. Admission is free, but a minimum $5 donation is very much appreciated.
