Clevelanders These Knees released an official music video for “Pacifica,” the second single from their debut album, The Young and the Bright. Directed by filmmakers Danielle Miller (Rabid Filmmaking) and Julia Thorndike, the video captures an action-packed day in the life of a Midwesterner – namely singer/guitarist Stephanie Trivison.
In a song that I always felt had an unmistakable summer vibe, it’s nice to have a visual that compliments that attitude so perfectly. After following Stephanie through a day where everything just seems to go right, we end up at a bonfire complete with tiki torches, sparklers, and acoustic guitars. Having grown up in the Midwest, it all feels very familiar and perfect.
The fast-paced style and quirky stop-motion accents are exactly how I imagined These Knees would translate from song to video. I’m just curious how Stephanie fit all that stuff into one day.
