December 14th is bound to be a great day. Not only is it a mere 11 days from Christmas, but the evening promises some good, rockin’ fun at the 3rd Annual Noise for Toys Benefit. Some of Chicago’s finest rockers, including Blane Fonda, The Noise FM, Board of Governors, and Chasing Mars, will be gracing the Subterranean’s stage wearing their ugliest Christmas sweaters and with a few favorite Christmas tunes in mind.

Of course, we’d never sponsor an event like this without setting something up for our readers. Midwest Action would hate for you to attend this show unprepared, which is why we are offering the Noise for Toys Preview Pack! Included in this giveaway is Foolish Croon by Blane Fonda, Attraction by The Noise FM, and a combo bottle-opener-flashdive filled with Board of Governors media. A second place winner will receive The Noise FM’s recent release.

To win these albums from the Noise for Toys musicians, simply comment below and let us know your favorite Christmas song (unless its “Dominick the Donkey”). We will pick a first-place and a second-place winner from the comments at random on 12/12 and contact via e-mail.

Tickets can be purchased in advance here; if you prefer to pay at the door, don’t forget to bring an unopened toy for half off the cover. Admission at the door is $10 or $5 with toy. All proceeds from the door will be donated to the Toys For Tots organization which provides families in need with toys during the holiday season.

Check out the event on Facebook, and RSVP too! Ages 17+.
