MWA Approved: Velocicopter, Kinda Good, I Saw The Creature, and The Gnar Wave Rangers at Quenchers – 10/14

Hello my dear Lovelies,

I am here once again to give you the down-low of the low down download for the evening we have planned at the Midwest Action headquarters. Quenchers Saloon has been foolish enough to give us an evening to fill with our own brand of poison. Get ready for an unforgettable evening you might not remember with bands you’ll definitely want to.

To start the night off, we have a smokey salty brand of rock – known as “Gnar Wave”. The Gnar Wave Rangers rock tribal/surf drums, throbbing bass lines, and gritty guitars with growling almost theatric vocals that will have you dirtily dancing. If that doesn’t put baby in a corner (pause for laughter), we have the powerful and sexy I Saw The Creature (Madison, WI) up next. Ripping bluesy riffs and powerful vocals sewn throughout each verse find yourself loving the Led Zeppelin feel of their track “Bird Thoughts”. If you don’t love them, then I might (read: will) punch you in the hair.

A few beers later we have Kinda Good, a self-proclaimed cheapo rock band. Meh – they’re alright.

Taking the stage last tonight, we have Velocicopter. all power and some killer bass fuzz – a band just as dangerous as a raptor helicopter hybrid.

YOU WILL STOMP. YOU WILL YELL. YOU WILL EAT MASSIVE QUANTITIES OF FREE POPCORN.

We’d love to see you tonight. QUENCHERS. 8:30PM. Our friends 21 and over can join us for a cool 5 dollars.

Love,
Sweet Si-diddly-doodilly.
