MWA Approved: Dead Meadow and Landmarks at Double Door – 3/1

Just last week, we saw Chicago-based outfit, Landmarks, open for the ever-awesome Courtney Barnett, and we couldn’t be more excited to see them again so soon. Ring in the first of March with a solid evening of psych rock with Dead Meadow and Landmarks at the Double Door.

Dead Meadow have been waiting since 1998 to share a bill with a band like Landmarks. Ok, so this may be a bit hyperbolic, but you can’t deny how compatible the two bands are together. With Dead Meadow bringing their mix of hard and psychedelic rock, and Landmarks warming up the audience with layers of ambient noise, this show will just ooze good vibes.

Also playing this evening are Killer Moon and Redgrave.

If you’re 21 or over, head to Double Door to catch this killer bill on Saturday night. The show begins at 9:00PM, with doors opening at 8:00PM. Tickets are a measly $12, so forgo your Starbucks this week (that’s about the price of one latte, isn’t it?) and pick up tickets here.

As always, enjoy some music below in preparation for Saturday’s performance. It’s going to be a great one.
