A perfect storm of soul, R&B, jazz and pop, Chicago’s Hood Smoke is hot off the release of their latest record, Rough Around the Hedges, and preparing to celebrate it in a big way. Released March 25th on Ears & Eyes Records, the album will get its official release party this Friday at the Hideout. And if that isn’t enough, we’re excited to be able to premiere the official video for the Rough Around the Hedges track “Anything But The Answer” right here on Midwest Action.
The mellow soul track is complemented perfectly by this beautifully shot and edited minimalist treatment which follows bandleader and bassist Bryan Doherty as he roams the streets of Chicago.
