Press play, and lose yourself in a world of sound courtesy of Lazy Legs. Early this month, the Chicago noise outfit released its first track, “Lipstick Prick”. The intro hits me in a Deftones “heavy-but-ethereal” kind of way, before fading into more ambient, otherworldly instrumentation. The vocals that are more an instrument than a medium for delivering a message, woven delicately in between beats of the drum and screeching guitar. Check out the track below:
