Dunn Dunn Fest 2018 at FitzGerald’s Nightclub

The sixth annual Dunn Dunn Fest returns this weekend with another three days of roots rock, blues, and Americana. This year, the festival’s found a new home at FitzGerald’s in Berwyn, IL.

Dunn Dunn Fest features 28 acts across three stages. Some (only some) of the bands we’re most excited for:

Michigander

Unsurprisingly, Michigander is an act from (you guessed it) Michigan. We’ve always felt fluttery in the very best ways about Michigander, ever since we were introduced to “Nineties” in 2016. Check out his most recent dreamy indie release, “ATL”, below–and then live on Thursday night.

Emily Blue

Emily Blue‘s music is perfection from her masterful, sugary sweet vocals to her ear for crafting indie pop treats. The singer-songwriter is self-described “human cotton candy”, and that human cotton candy hits the Dunn Dunn stage on Thursday night.

JC Brooks Band

I dare you to find a Chicagoan not familiar with JC Brooks and his incredible backing band. JC Brooks’ soulful pipes are synonymous with music in the Windy City. Make sure to visit Dunn Dunn Fest on Friday to catch the post-punk soul band.

Josefina

Buenos Aires-born singer/songwriter, Josefina, dropped her debut album on February 10th, and it’s filled to the brim with alt-country goodness and lush vocals. She plays Dunn Dunn Fest on Saturday.
