It’s hard not to love an album that opens with a track called “Ed Gein’s Etsy” (look it up if you don’t get the reference). Wonderful song names aside, this album is easily makes our Best of 2017 list. Montrose Man rose out of the ashes of another one of our Chicago favorites, Velocicopter (R.I.P.), toss in a member of Lasers and Fast and Shit, and you’ve got yourself one hell of a super-group. For fans of ’90s grunge, female fronted bands, and heavy ass drums.
