Chicago outfit, American Wolf, have not only released a new track, but a new video to go alongside it.
“Favorite” follows a woman from a rural countryside to the river and, through the use of handheld camera, puts you right there beside her. The light and layered instrumentation of the song gives the video a hazy, dreamy feel. Once that atmosphere swirls together with the pastoral imagery and this woman’s meditative retreat, everything so gently locks into place and just feels right.
Not only is “Favorite” a great track to get lost in, but each shot is so artfully composed that the video is really, really interesting to watch as well. You might even (quite literally) get lost in it, too.
