“Twelfth Month” at Union Street Gallery thru 12/21

It’s that time of the year again – Twelfth Month. Well, it’s still just November, but a show this expansive just had to go up a bit sooner. Twelfth Month is an annual end-of-the-year exhibit featuring art and craft from local and regional artists. It is set-up in a unique style featuring a traditional gallery component and boutique component.

Over 50 talented artists are exhibiting art and fine craft at Twelfth Month. There is a wide variety of media on display, including but not limited to paintings, collages, photographs, ceramics, and found object art. An array of smaller works will be for sale as well, such as hand-made cards, jewelry, pottery, and more.

The exhibit includes work from Margi Hafer of Frankfort, Aaron Tinder of Des Moines, and Marikay Peter Witlock of Chicago Heights. To ensure a fabulous end-of-the-year gallery show, all artists on display have been invited by USG. A modest preview of the exhibit is below:

If you missed the reception on November 23rd, fear not! Twelfth Month is will be hanging until December 21st. Admission is free, but a minimum $5 donation is appreciated.
