Emily Haasch is both a designer and artist based in the beautiful city of Chicago. After perusing her online portfolio, I concluded that while she is indeed a very talented designer, I found her mixed media collages most intriguing. Her interest in design has certainly informed the composition of the collages, or perhaps it’s the other way around.
Emily, alongside Darrin Higgins, also co-curates Offline. Offline is a “small-run publication with a focus on designers and artists working on self-initiated projects in Chicago. [It showcases] the notion of the outsider, collective power, and the passion within ideas”.
